S.G. Brown 1922 Speaker Horn for Smart Phones

We transform phonograph horn styles into smartphone speaker docks. Our acoustic speakers don't need cables or batteries, they simply amplify the sound from your phone's speaker. We only use genuine vintage speaker horns, not modern reproductions, into reclaimed timber and as so each speaker is unique.

Horn Description

This gorgeous speaker was first made in 1922, the same year as the BBC was formed. This makes it one of the oldest horn speakers and so it is fairly rare. Different makes and models were being made up to 1927, then the horn was built in to a box making it look more modern.

This vintage S.G. Brown speaker is ready to be transformed into an acoustic speaker for smart phones. When you purchase this horn you are also placing an order for it to be made to your specifications. It can be restored, or preserved as is, and then mounted into a wooden base, style of your choosing. Please see the images of previous speaker horns for some inspiration. We will work with you to design the perfect phone dock for this gorgeous speaker horn. You can also have the timber base personalised with an image or text for an additional charge.
